OFFSITE PROGRAM
Screw Machining also known as “Swiss Machining”, when compared to traditional turning processes offers greater precision, versatility, productivity and lower cost. This program is divided into three levels. Each student will learn basic machine operation, tooling and programming.
- CNC Screw Machine Level 1
Fundamentals of machine operation, bar feeder basics and setup, work holding and tooling. - CNC Screw Machine Level 2
Basics of CNC Programming which includes preparation and techniques. - CNC Screw Machine Level 3
Advanced programming, Milling on a Screw Machine and Macro programming.
